Carmela had the great idea to take her love for cooking to the next level, it had always been something she wanted to do but the pandemic gave her the push to do what she really loved. She came to me full of passion for her new venture and she wanted a logo and brand presence to reflect that. The important factor for her was that it was rustic and authentic home-cooked food. I crafted a brand presence based around her family connection to food and what it meant to her.
Hand written font to give
a feel of authenticity
Taking influence from classic Italian design and traditional sign painting I created a logo that incorporated the traditional Italian with an authentic twist of hand-written font.
Once Carmela was happy with the logo and colour scheme it was time to craft the brand story, listening to Carmela talk about her reasons and passion behind the business I took these stories and wrote a little statement from Carmela herself to be included in her food menus.

As a social media lover I showed how her new brand could be applied across social media. Using her photos I designed images that could be used on Instagram to ensure the brand is always consistent.
