This is a personal project of mine and my partners, he is a 3D artist and really wanted to set up a business doing 3D printing using our custom built 3D printer.
The name comes from our pet names we call each other because we wanted it to be as
open and honest and as much like our true selves as possible. We discussed how we see us, and found some specific similarities in our creativity since childhood. We're fun, can be silly and child-like, we're always messing around. We also discussed both of our preferences around style, colours etc. and I crafted the brand out of these discussions.
We wanted the brand look and feel to be as fun as we see ourselves, whilst also bringing out the silly child-like quality, how we remember our creativity as children, so I opted for creating the letters in a cut out paper kind of style where they don't align follow convention of heights and weights. I drew illustrations of simplified versions of us in a style that I feel has an innocence to it. The colours were also chosen to bring in this fun, light happy feel.
